Konstantin Soukhovetski &
Vassily Primakov, piano duo

Konstantin Soukhovetski is rapidly earning a reputation as a “young pianist who captivates” with his “distinctive lyricism,” “immaculate technique,” and “vigor…refinement…and drama.” He is the 2006 recipient of the William Petschek Award, the highest honor given by The Juilliard School to its pianists and last March, completed a 14-performance tour of South Africa, including Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Durban among others.

Audience uproar is a hallmark of Vassily Primakov's dazzling performances. Moscow-born and trained, Mr. Primakov’s first concerto performance in New York was so riveting that it brought the audience to its feet and had The New York Times raving over his 'fiery performance (and) dramatic commitment.' Mr. Primakov has been awarded many special prizes and today performs widely across the United States in solo recital and with orchestra.
