2008 Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Community Tours
These one and a half hour guided walking tours explore the past, present and future of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, emphasizing the historic architecture, the Nobel legacy, and the advanced cancer and neuroscience research taking place each day.
The Laboratory is situated at One Bungtown Road (off Route 25A) in Cold Spring Harbor. Tours assemble promptly at 10 a.m. in Grace Auditorium lobby (the first building to your left as you enter the laboratory grounds).
The 2008 schedule begins in March and will continue through November (see full schedule below). To join a tour, reservations and a non-refundable tour fee of $5.00 per person is required at least 7 days in advance. ADVISORY: This tour is primarily outdoors and takes place rain or shine. The tour includes areas of stair-climbing and steep hills; it is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking.
